BOCA PREP USA: PYP 2 is Making Healthy and Positive Decisions

 Last week during Red Ribbon Week, Ms. Alix came to the second grade class. She talked to the students about making good, healthy choices and positive decisions. The students did a short activity with Ms. Alix where they showed understanding of what a healthy choice and a positive decision are.
       
       After Ms. Alix left, the kids continued talking about making good choices and positive  decisions. For example, during lunch one child said, "Look I am eating lots of vegetables. I am making good choices!" and another child said, "On Halloween, I went trick or treating with my parents and listened to what they said. I made a positive decision." It was and is great to see them happily finding opportunities for making wise choices in their daily lives.
