Parents had a great
time at a Spelling class that was shown during the Open Day. First, Miss
Irasema welcomed everybody and explained what the spelling words
were and how their children learnt 20 new ones each week. Miss Irasema
organized a short game so parents could get familiar with the letters, then
Miss Itzia asked parents to spell the words out loud following a power point
presentation. Once the first two activities were over, the parents
were divided into 4 teams each of which received a set of alphabet cards and
right after that Miss Adriana proceeded with a drill where
she shouted out a spelling word and parents had to
make it up with their alphabet cards. The team that finished first
could get a point. Parents had a lot of fun!
